Ninh Binh is beautiful year-round, but the golden rice seasons in May–June and September–October are when Tam Coc is at its most spectacular. To avoid crowds and get the best photos, choose the Sunrise Jeep or Sunset Jeep — the light on the limestone mountains is at its best then.
